Not us, St. Peter’s vs rider. got you. I wouldn't worry, the schedule will probably change a couple of times before Sunday. And if not Raver will probably post that he can't believe that the NFL would schedule a Super Bowl when Rider is playing.

I haven't watched an NFL game in years and this season just capped it for me that I will never watch again.
So, bring on college hoops!
Go Gaels!!!

MAAC Tournament stretched 1 day earlier to allow for more COVID protocols. Relevant to us as the Iona men figure to be in the PIG due to not having enough games to escape it.
Another day at Caesars for me! Bring on the gelato! And the daily podcasts of course.

Should be noted that if Iona's gonna finish in the PIG--a distinct possibility--finishing 6th is best. 6 seed plays 11 seed Monday, then has 2 days off before quarterfinal vs 3 seed.

So in this crazy season where total wins determines seeds, are we in the position wanting the teams at the top of the standings beating the lower teams, with the goal just staying out of the PIG, and not so much finishing even top 2?

I will say that 6-3 probably gets Iona the 5 seed. Even without playing for awhile, that is do-able.

You don't think 5 teams will get to 10 wins? 5 teams have at least 6 wins now.

The good news about the PIG, is that we get to play an extra game.

You don't think 5 teams will get to 10 wins? 5 teams have at least 6 wins now. Rider, Fairfield, Manhattan, Canisius, and Quinnipiac are not getting to 9 wins IMO, which leaves 6-8 Niagara. Are they going to go 4-2? I doubt it. Without playing Niagara and having same wins, I assume the next time breaker would be less losses. So yes I think 6-3 gets it done.

In this crazy season, with teams not playing equal amount of games, we would usually be hoping Manhattan beats Monmouth in their series this weekend. Instead we want Monmouth to sweep them to keep the jaspers at only 5 wins. As far as the tiebreaker IF Iona and Niagara end tied for 5th. It's not less league wins that breaks the ties. It goes by the usual tiebreaker rules starting with head-to-head games and then working down the list. Going to be a wild and interesting few weeks ahead
