Best of luck to him. Seemed like a fine young man.

Showed flashes last year. Having a head coach would have helped.

Kid had great potential but let's face it, he came here to play for Cluess, not Arnold and not (another) Pitino. Time to move on. We'll be fine without him.

My son mentioned Jelly entered the transfer portal. I was bummed to hear it.
I really liked him and thought he made some solid contributions.
I thought he and Risto were impacted the most by not having TC able to coach them.

The stars just never aligned properly for him. Hope he can salvage his remaining college career.
I'm sure he'll have plenty of options and it will be interesting to see where he lands.
Best of luck Jelly.

I’m disappointed, a bit too many newcomers next year to be very good, following year Iona will be very good and then top 50 the next year.

Sorry but Jelly who played better the 2nd half of season in not that athletic hard working freak athlete. I did not see him play in high school but to be a 4 starbrecruit must of showed more then I saw. Athletically average 3 point shooter average, ball handler and creator his strength, attitude fragile Not a Petino athletic player but above average MAAC player who could have a decent chance to earn money in Europe or Israel or turkey. Sorry but he showed me no mental toughness blame it on the coach whatever I wish him well thanks for coming to Iona without him we probably win 5 games

Pitino and staff have recruited their ass off with solid players for every position. Rick is a hall of fame coach you think he won’t have these recruits ready for MAAC play? Are you guys kidding.? I’ve been following the Gaels for nearly 50 years and never have I seen this many quality recruits brought into the program in one year. This team will be good and will get better as the season goes on.

Lots of talent, but a ton of youth.

Talent is the key. St.Peter's had a ton of youth last year and they did pretty good and they don't have a HOF coach

With an inability to do live evaluations, I'd say Coach Pitino is taking a leap of faith on most of these new players.
