Choir masters suggest voice leasons for those with great voices or bad voices. You don't need lessons. Your basketball voice is perfect.

Guy, where's the money?...the money your parents gave you for singing lessons.
Singing aside, great job as always.

Guy, thanks. Casey is a great guest, and provided a lot of info. And even more info by what he did not say. My assumption is that he didn't talk about Joiner and Jolly, because they have yet to sign, whatever it is that they have to sign. I was a little confused when he spoke about SID. Was there a press release coming, or was it that Casey couldn't talk about potential games until there is a press release. Or neither? Again, thanks.

My guess is they're still finishing up spring semesters at their current schools. And also correct, even though some game contracts are pretty much signed, since he is NOT Pitino, he cannot just talk about games that have not been "released" by the school yet. All of that said, re the schedule, whatever's been said out here or on my podcast (or my twitter) about contracts/scheduling is accurate.

One really interesting point coach Stanley made was how the team communicates with recruits that have already committed. Was surprised to hear that they either text, call or have a staff zoom call with every kid like every 3 days. I knew they stayed in touch, but didn't realize that often. Recruiting really is a full time job.

Another great job Guy, thanks.
Near the end Coach Stanley commented on the high amount of athletic activity on campus amongst all sports. The next time you get a chance to connect to someone from the athletic department, ask them what (and when) they feel Concordia's facilities will impact athletics in general.

Glad to hear Coach Stanley tout Berrick JL. This kid has single handedly made me a fan of defensive basketball. Watching his footwork as he keeps himself between his man and the hoop is incredible. You can cross-over, stutter-step, whatever; you are not going find this kid cross-footed. To me several of his blocks were more spectacular than his dunks. Mid range game? I would love to see him develop the Isiah Ross floater. With an improved handle, he and Jolly will put on an aerial show next season.

I know that Casey's opinion, that the coaches are really happy with the team that they now have, even with two open scholarships, is coach speak at its best. But, it seems to me that we'll be bringing in at least one, and probably two more players. Is this how others see it?

If the player pool has a special talent (impact type, 4 star) available, it could be two.

In listening to the podcast, and I'll admit my hearing isn't great, I got the impression that they were satisfied with the present roster, but if an opportunity arose................................ . But since he said that, it seems that we continue to be quite active on the recruiting trail. So that's why I don't think we'll go into next season down two.

No Pitino team will have less than a full roster with the way he likes defense.
