Well the Sophomore slump is over. May be the best podcast in the history of Ionahoops. Great analysis by you and Gaelforce! 6-5 is a fair guess, but we need to be better. I'm confident we will be very good.
One small request. You speak very softly, which I appreciate, but could you tweak the audio a little bit to raise the volume? Hopefully without creating distortion. Sometimes I'm listening on my phone without speakers and it's a bit hard to hear. Thanks! Can't wait for the season to start!

Since there was no mention of Josue G., it seems like he is gone and ... maybe ... the roster is set.

Guy, I enjoyed the discussion about the Women's team, and came away with the hope that they'll be better this year. Expect that they will build on the success of last year, when they finished pretty strong. Also, glad to hear that she expects our shooting to improve. However, she seemed to dance around your question of what will keep the Lady Gaels from doing as well as she hopes. My answer would be that we have to cut down on our turnovers as we were 470 (TO's) with 366 (Assists), last year. I'm pretty sure that our W-L will improve.

Guy, could you approach Coach Chambers with the following suggestion. After the Maroon-Gold scrimmage, we have a four team "mixed doubles" 3Pt shooting contest. Four members from the Women's team would be joined with four members of the Men's team. Team A, vs. Team B, etc. with the winners playing for the championship. James Carey, a student section favorite, might be one of Men's team selected.
From a publicity/interest POV it would really help the Lady Gaels. Of course Coach Chambers would have to sell RP on the idea. What do you think?
