Guy, just listened to the latest Podcast. I really admire you for the commitment you’ve shown over the years to the Gael following. The time you put into everything about Iona Basketball goes so far beyond anything a fan could expect. Not sure what we would do or where we would be with respect to Iona Hoops if not for your always informative slant on the program. I know you don’t care but hope the University’s basketball administration recognizes what you do to enhance the program. We are a bigger and more informed audience thanks to you. Please, no more promotions and time away from Gael basketball. We would not be the same without you.

Just wondering, but in your latest podcast you reminded everyone about the correct pronunciation of Oz Shema's name. Shem-a and not She-ma. Does that tell us something about Oz, who waited for more than two years to let people know that they were mispronouncing his name? A lack of confidence or just someone who wants to stay in the background and not make the story about him?
One thing that seems certain as we close out the RS, is that the TV announcers will be calling his name a lot imo. Why:
1. He's 3rd in FG%-.487
2. He's 2nd in 3pt%-.350
3. He's 4th in assists-39 (despite playing less than the guys ahead of him)
4, He's tied for 1st with Nelly in blocks-36 (and he's played about 175 fewer minutes) So he might have figured, "I better let people know my name".
