86, I saw on VC that Estrella is listed as a 2 star and Trey James as a 3 star. Would you have marked them as such? Based on his athleticism, I would think that Estrella should have the higher rating.

VC uses 2 star as a default for unrated players. They also seem to be behind the others with their ratings. I pretty much ignore VC ratings.

Correct.. the guys from VC have even told us to sort of ignore their ratings as they are a mess. The currently do not do their own ratings anyway. They are very good on tracking offers and player movement. I wish they would leave the old offers up once a player commits though.

When rated, he will be at least a 4 star IMHO. By the time he is a senior, could even be a 5 star.
With a much more athletic and stronger team next year, compared to prior seasons, I am looking forward to a season with a lot more dunking than we are used to.

Scouting Reports "Toughness and sound play at the forward position for one of Florida’s top players it was a pleasure watching James play, had stretches where he basically did whatever he wanted at 6-9 and showed me this being my extended look real range out past the arc to go with the dominant power-game he employs closer in, handles the ball well and is a serious eraser on D as he jumps out the gym, as most already know a high D1 talent whose name will be known even more before long." - Keith Agran, On the Radar Hoops, APRIL 17, 2022
"There is a strong argument for James as the most talented prospect at the Sweet 16 tournament. The 6-8 forward brings a blend of size, athleticism, and face-up skill. He complements his teammate, Sam Alexis, well in the hi-lo game. James is ready to stretch the floor with jumpers when his teammate gets double teamed. Yet he can act as a go-to scorer with aggressive drives and putbacks in the lane." - Jonathan Hemingway, On the Radar Hoops, April 15th, 2022
"This kid gets better each time I see him. The 6-foot-8 junior out of Winter Haven is so versatile. On the offensive end, he can be effective out on the perimeter and dominate inside the paint. Defensively, he can guard multiple positions on the floor. I really enjoyed watching him go after boards the way he did. He was able to get 6-8 of his points from being aggressive on the offensive boards and getting rewarded with an easy put back. His athleticism really shines in transition as he runs the floor. He beats everyone down the court and shows impeccable timing with lobs. James is also a solid rim protector. He blocked or altered a lot of shots that came his way in the paint. Despite the loss, he was one of the best players on the floor on his way to 19 points. " Brianna Patton, Hoop Seen, 6, DEC 2021
Davion Guity - 6’8" SF/PF out of the Bronx via ABC Prep Academy in Albuquerque, NM. and CM3 Elite (NY) for AAU. Is ranked as the 3rd best prospect in New Mexico. Not a lot on him at this point. From the video that is out there, he has good range, soft shot, can take players off the bounce, strong enough to bang down low and can pass and create for teammates. Looks like a great kid.

Scouting Report: Guity is a Bronx native who’s spent his high school career outside of NYC. He’s a high motor big man who is an elite shooter and rebounder. He’s also strong enough to bang in the paint. Excellent handle for his size and is a matchup nightmare. Has heard from over 10 D1 programs in the last year. - Recruit the Bronx -
