Never thought I would say this, but I actually enjoyed watching Iona’s defense against Seton Hall. It was a WOW factor for me. Also, never thought I would say this: The Defense is ahead of the offense! To me, it appeared that we are not yet comfortable with the offense. And that was true even in the first half when our 3 point shooting bailed us out. Giving Seton Hall full credit for their performance, all of the newness and covid was apparent in the second half. Seton Hall exposed it, and our guys did not have the legs or the comfort level to adjust. NJJ showed better to me than any of the video I had previously seen. He is a handful when he gets the system down. I am also really impressed with Ryan Meyers. His composure is impressive considering he was running an offense that we don’t yet know. Zero TO’s in 20 minutes of play. It’s going to be fun. Good thing because the ledge can only run at 25% capacity because of covid, and social distancing is in effect. On the other hand, we could take a page out of the current Administration – push them off the ledge, and not count them as a covid fatality. Cnn? No. SLG!

Unfortunately DVE has become gun shy. Last year it was the same thing. He would have wide open threes and instead of pulling the trigger he would pass the ball off. It seems to me he ence in his shooting ability. He hasn't been the same since the FREDO uproar about the the "D" handle.... bahahahahahahhahahahaha!
