Maybe Rick has a stronger opponent in sight than A-Sun. This is one of the stronger and deeper teams Iona has had in many year. Looks like Iona's kryptonite, Princeton might be available. Pretty sure we're 0-forever against them. Maybe a good year to get off that schneid.

Former ASUN school NJIT is available for those dates, dont know if they are a possibility. NJIT's sked is now out. This just gets more and more comical. Why is NJIT's Sched comical?

Exactly, bill.
I remember after the shot falling backwards on the floor. When I saw the replay, Jason Young did the same. What a heartbreaker.
Go Gaels!!!

I was at the game (Rupp Arena) and have to admit I came away feeling pretty good about the Gaels. While being disappointed with the loss, the game showed we could play with the big boys. It was Tim Welch's last game coaching the Gaels, but I was pretty confident that JR would be hired and that our success would continue. I wasn't happy when I heard that Tim took Steve DeMayo with him, as Steve was our main recruiter.

Florida Gulf Coast has posted a thirty game schedule on their athletic web site, we are not on it. A head scratcher.

Liberty will be a tough matchup, we should be favored big against North Alabama.

On the whole, from a computer ratings standpoint the schedule is very good, with amazingly no true road games. To I70's point a couple weeks back, though, I think we were all hoping for a couple more high majors on the slate, or at least higher-profile games in the NY arenas (outside of SHU). For me personally I would have liked to have started a series vs Kentucky at Rupp this year, but alas.
And now, the speculation can begin. How are we gonna do in these 11 games? Discuss!

Realistic
App. state..W Harvard..W Hofstra..W liberty..W North Alabama..W Alabama..L Drake/Belmont..W North Texas..W Yale..W Seton Hall..L Delaware..W
Record of 9-2 would be a great job.
Lots of tough games that can go either way.
Delaware favored to win conference. Harvard/Yale picked top 2 in Ivy Alabama and Seton Hall, while winnable, will both be very good Drake/Liberty/Belmont expected to be top MM programs
