Just pointing out the inconsistency in your reactions to the two games. I don't see them as being inconsistent. We played two teams that I have no idea how good either of the two teams are and reacted accordingly. To defend 59 just a little bit, Seton Hall turned right around and lost to Columbia. So we really don't know how good they are.

Another weird thing about last night's game. LIU's coach was not there and nobody in the arena seemed to know why. Some didn't even realize it. I missed listening to the beginning of the game so I don't know if it was mentioned by the announcers. At the game, how did you even know this? I have no idea who their coach is. I knew because I remembered that they had a female coach and there was a guy coaching. So I looked it up on the Internet. Then I asked a nearby L.I.U. fan. Asked some of our staff and was actually going to ask one of the announcers at halftime, but just as I got there they went back on air and I didn't want to bother them.

This where I stand up and say, "I rest my case".

Looking at the boxscore from the game, and I noticed that Noa Givon wasn't listed. Was she injured, coach's decision, or has she returned to her family in Israel? Anyone know?

Women lost in OT to Bethune Cookman, 74-72. They had jumped out to a first quarter lead, 18-7. And going into the final quarter they led, 52-45. You could say that they wore down by not playing their bench, as BC had 83 bench minutes to only 38 for Iona. Sierra DeAngelo had a very strong game with 30 points, 13 boards and three assists.

1970, you might be correct, after all you are long overdue. As a coach, you might have a better handle on how the Women's game compares to the Men. But in our last Men's game, the Bench played 60+ minutes. Just saying it might have been the difference, last night,

We did get Noa Givon back and she had 23 of the 38 bench minutes. Also, seemed to have a very solid game with 11 points on 4-5 shooting with 2-3 from deep and 1-1 from the line.

Women dropped to 1-3 with a 71-62 loss at Stetson. Sierra DeAngelo was high scorer and rebounder with 17 and nine. Our new coach, while at 1-3, is doing a little better than our old coach, who is 0-4 at Xavier. And now for some news that everyone has been waiting for.......
And I'm pretty sure that even greg didn't realize this. Of the 16 women on the roster, only Judith Gomez and Ale Civera, have first names that don't end in an A or a Y.

Women win their first road game and improve to 2-3, defeating Wagner, 67-55. Balanced scoring with four players in double figures, along with eight and nine point scorers. Congrats, Ladies.
