Super, of the areas in Florida (near Ft. Meyers) that were hard hit by the Hurricane, have they been rebuilt? Hardly--national focus has been on politics. Major shortage of valid contractors. Will take years. |

Super and other Florida posters, has the latest storm impacted any of you? My prayers are with you all. I know that Super has experienced many hurricanes and tropical storms and hope that this wasn't one of the very bad ones.

Don ... I am south of Super in Naples. All is ok here except for minor street flooding near the coast and the bay. I guess we " ... dodged a bullet" ... and the diners are as good here as in NewRo. Go Gales ...

Nope, not intended ... some "freudian's" - "... diners NOT as good." - see Annabelle and Colonial; and Gales = Gaels but both "... always on my mind."

Streets and many neighborhoods impassable through this morning. More than 500 "rescued" from their homes by boat. Property losses were minimal. |

Just using this thread to wish Super and the rest of our Florida posters all the best as they endure the latest hurricane. I know that JPR and ichoops are in Florida along with other posters and I apologize for not knowing your names. But all are in my prayers.
