Hofstra (6-3) lost in overtime 81-77 at George Mason. St. Bonaventure (5-2) won at home 71-64 over Middle Tennessee. SMU (3-4) 83-64 lost at Texas A&M. Penn (5-5) lost at home 85-80 in overtime vs. St. Joseph's (PA). St. Louis (6-2) won at home 80-63 against Tennessee State. Princeton (5-2) won at home 92-58 over Cairn. Rider won at home 88-62 over winless Monmouth. Mervin James and Dwight Murray Jr. each tallied 17 points to lead the Broncs who shot 30-52 (57.7%) for the game and 8-18 (44.4%) from three. Why is Princeton playing a school I've never heard of? New Mexico must be good; Monmouth must be bad.
(An aside: Youngest sister was offered a full ride to Monmouth but took a decent financial aid package at St. Joseph's).
