Kind of expected they wouldn’t be very good with all the players they lost to the portal. What is mystifying to me is SLU’s performance. That loss last night is horrific for them. Just as bad as it gets for the most part.

It’s because everyone has transfers and first time players and they are still working out things. It’s why I laugh when people say we will be better come February, everyone is in the same boat, they all hope to be better by the end of the year. As compared to other teams some will and some won’t.

I was watching the game, and switched channels figuring the blowout was on with an 18 point lead and no indication that SIUE had anything left. I just happened to rejoin at the handshake line and could not believe the score. SIUE is at best a last place MAAC team. 18 point lead with 11 minutes to go!
