SMU (6-8) won at home _____ over Tulsa.

Fairfield (6-8; 2-2 MAAC) down 27-9 at one point, closed to 63-61 before falling short at home, losing 70-61 to Siena (9-5; 3-0 MAAC). Michael Eley led the Saints with 16 points. TJ Long was tops for the Stags with 19 points.

Quinnipiac (10-5; 1-3 MAAC) won 84-65 at Manhattan (4-9; 2-2 MAAC). Matt Lablanc's 20 points led 5 Bobcats who scored in double figures. Ant Nelson was tops for the Jaspers with 20 points.

Penn (8-7) won 76-68 at Brown.

Mount St. Mary's (6-9; 2-2 MAAC) won 64-60 at Canisius (2-9; 0-4 MAAC). Jalen Benjamin led the Mountaineers with 19 points. Jamir Moultrie tallied 11 points, the sole Golden Griffin to score in double figures.

Niagara (8-5; 3-1 MAAC) won at home 61-59 over Rider (6-7; 3-1 MAAC). Noah Thomasson once again led the Purple Eagles with 20 points. Allen Betrand had 16 points to lead the Broncs, who shot just 1-8 (12.5%) on three point attempts.

Noah Thomasson is VG, but while I don't like Niagara's slow it down style, I have to give kudos to their coach, when you consider all the players they lost. I understand why the school extended him.

Agreed. He has got great energy on the bench as well. He has built a nice culture at NU with very challenging conditions around him.

This is true. That's the way to lose though, on the road to a decent team and don't make a habit of it.
