1. Siena fans (MAAC Board) keep wondering if McCollum will play (injury) and tonight he had 27 points. Stormo had 20 and has been a consistent double digit scorer. One advantage that I see Iona having over Siena, and what they didn't have in the Quinnipiac and FF games is at the center position. While Stormo is a VG scorer he doesn't seem to have the physicality of the four centers (two each from Quinny and FF) that kept Nelly from dominating down low. Rider has two centers who play a lot but I don't know how they are on the defensive end.
2. Have to give the Manhattan and Niagara coaches credit for having their teams with 4-3 records. At the start of the season both teams looked decimated with so many players leaving the programs.
3. As great as the attendance was last night, I'll be surprised if we have a decent crowd on a football Sunday.

As great as the attendance was last night, I'll be surprised if we have a decent crowd on a football Sunday. Just had this discussion on Twitter about NJJ, as well as his battles with Stormo. Stormo has defended NJJ very well. 3 games; Stormo..33pts..NJJ 13pts. The game Siena won, NJJ didn't score, but only took 4 shots. Joiner & Jolly took 35 of the team's 64 shots. However, in those 3 games NJJ has kicked Stormo's ass on the boards as well as blocks. Stormo 13 boards and 3 blocks NJJ 28 boards and 7 blocks NJJ/Iona 2-1 vs Siena NJJ/Iona MAAC championship Advantage NJJ the delusional Siena fans, or at least some think Stormo is better and more consistent than NJJ...comical.

Miami vs Buffalo not going to steal many, plenty of time for Giant fans to get home for their game. I think Some students could be back as well.

I thought that Hynes would be empty on New Years Day too, and was surprised as the place filled up. Attendance has been VG this season.
