You would think that their first year head coach might move onto some bigger schools radar screens. But the HC he replaced, Kyle Neptune, who replaced Jay Wright at Villanova has had a so so season, and I'm wondering if that would hold him back.

It would be very Fordham if Urgo left after this season.

He's not but he's from his coaching tree. P.S. Bill, thinking back to some of your early clients. They were arrested for simply associating with known criminals.

Included in Fordham’s 20 wins are:
Wagner Binghamton Central Connecticut VMI UCI Holy Cross Stonehill Maine
All home games.
All Ws.
Dropped Manhattan - since rescheduled for next year - and Iona.
So some ‘20 win’ perspective is required.
Fordham’s strategy was to change its losing basketball culture with ooc Ws while developing its team chemistry. No doubt that their strategy worked for them. Hopefully next year they will have a schedule which will benefit them getting into and competing in the Tournament
St. John’s used the same ‘team development’ mantra for season after season in their annual race to 20 wins. A cupcake ooc is integral to this approach. Couple that with Anderson’s bull shit above .500 record and you need to really look behind the numbers to see what a sham their 20 wins and above .500 record truly are.
TC was a master at team development every year because of annually changing rosters. His approach was to take them on the road, schedule the better teams and compete. The proof of TC’s strategy is hanging from the rafters in Hynes. ] Another way of looking at the realtime value of team records right now is: Iona (18-7 MAAC) NET 66 Kenpom 77 St. John’s (15-11 Big East) NET 99 Kenpom 89 Fordham (20-5 A10) NET 131 Kenpom 136
When will 2022 appear on the current NIT banner as has been previous discussed on the Board. It is a part of our winning basketball culture.[br

Not that long ago I believe that Fordham was in the 300 range. Everything is relative. Seems that Fordham has moved into mid tier A10. SJU has higher ratings but are in the bottom tier of the BE.

Historically they scheduled a cupcake OOC slate and then crapped out in conference play. This year they are holding their own in conference play.

The wheels have come off in New Mexico (19-7). The Lobos lost again at home 70-56 to Wyoming.

Hofstra won 20 games in 2018 2019 2021 and this season. Good program. Rumors that we extended series with them for 2 more years.
