Of course we remember Mike Ice. I recall several years ago when we were playing at URI and the games used to be broadcast on the Intranet, Mike Ice was interviewed at halftime. They said he had retired early from a Wall Street job and (I believe) was an adjunct teacher at URI.

Two things: 1. This season (February) marks the 45th anniversary of our MSG win over Louisville. Seems like a great time to retire Jeff's number. 2. Another Mike Ice story, though I'm not sure of the details. In a talk to fans, JV said that Mike Ice had been hired as an extra in an upcoming Woody Allen film. Also, again not sure, but believe that Mike started his college career at West Virginia and transferred to Iona.

Love the video. As an added bonus it includes (part of) a great song at the end there. Two of my favorite things in the world: Iona basketball and Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes.
Thanks for posting it.
