I asked last night and was told we should hear something this morning/today. Wondering if they are trying to put together a package with hotel for folks. Not sure. Thanks, Guy. Just getting nervous.

Yeah, UConn has one of the highest turnover rates in the country. I expect the Gaels to press some, but also try to force turnovers in the half-court too. Might this be the game RP unleashes his vaunted matchup zone? (one of the two best matchup zones in the history of the college game) UConn's big front line might demand it. Iona's man-to-man is zone-ish, but it is man-to-man. We might need Silas some in this one. Silas is going to have increased minutes in this game as a matter of necessity. I think Ayo too. We’ll need surprisingly effective minutes from them. Have to find a way to keep UConn off the offensive boards. I’m hoping that angry Nelly makes an appearance; maybe he can channel what Ndefo used to bring out in him. The more I read and watch on UConn the tougher this matchup looks. If we can keep it close into the last few minutes we will have a significant coaching advantage in the end game. Yeah, UConn has impressed me all season. The Huskies started the season 14-0, and they've won their past 9 out of 11. Two hot teams (14 game win streak for Gaels) will be going at it. They've been inside the Top 20 of offense and defense the entire season per KenPom. The committee didn't do UConn (or Kansas) any favors. Its the best fourth seed, and was shipped out West with the best 2 seed, the best 3 seed, the best 5 seed (and arguably the best 1 seed, 17-Quad-Win Kansas). The only thing I can think of behind stacking the region would be that this is Vegas' first ever regional, and they wanted to be assured marquee matchups, which they're going to get. If that wasn't the committee's intention, then they plain screwed up; so much for an "S" curve, lol. We're playing great and agree about the coaching advantage. The Gaels should respect UConn, but not fear them (or any opponent). Iona has arrived.

Just got the email. No tickets being sold through Iona. Might be staying home for the game now.

Ionaconnection says there is a small allotment and sends us all to Ticketmaster where all the tickets are verified resale tickets at a minimum of $200 (including the fees) per to sit upper level. Crazy how these days tickets get bought quickly by individuals with no interest in the game other than to turn a quick profit. You travel all over all season to see the Gaels and then get priced out for the NCAA game. Disappointing to say the least.

Any word on how UCONN is handling tickets to the game?

Lots of interest in this game. Almost everyone will have to buy on the resale market. There have been issues with Ticketmaster for years.

I blame the NCAA.
Ridiculous only 400 tix allotted to each school. UConn probably has classes with 400.
Tix we’re bought up by speculators of the secondary market who put them on Ticketmaster, StubHub, etc all of who I’m certain partner with the NCAA.
Goddamn money grab off the backs of regular fans who want to watch their teams.
Feel bad for Tom and the Iona guys. They don’t want to say no to anyone. They’re forced into a very bad position.

It’s a ballsy move but I’m sure you could pick up tix from the loser of the VCU/St. Mary’s game on the cheap. Many times the fans of the team that lost just want to get out of there.

It’s possible Siena season tickets holders were given a shot at the NCAA tix as part of their package.

Believe no re-entry allowed They don’t want to re-enter. I have seen fans of the losing team leave and either try to sell or offer their tickets for nothing. I believe this is the early session and Miami/ Indiana is the late session.
