LSU,UNC,Alabama, UCONN. This is our new NCAA story, no more heartbreakers as we had almost all of the first half of our NCAA history. Side note:: have to say I hate Dan Hurley, really unlikeable. Whines at every call, somehow allowed to be near center court screaming acting like he is playing defense in the middle of the game. Pressing with 2 minutes left up 20, putting a 7 foot 2 center in up 20. Jerk! We played our starters up 20 often this year,so I guess 2 jerks were coaching Well you’re right there, but I still hate Hurley! By the way how does pitino not get Weiss in that game at the end?

Hurleys the type of coach you’d love if he was your coach and hate if he’s coaching against you. He’s a great coach and did nothing wrong yesterday

Tired of hearing how bad of a matchup UConn was. We can’t expect to win these games, but we should expect to be competitive IMO. Every year there is a SPU, Princeton, FDU, FGCU team that gets a challenging draw, keeps their mouth shut and goes out and makes things interesting and eeks out a win. We have a HOF coach and they don’t. Maybe I am in the minority, but I was disappointed. Wasn’t expecting to win, but did not expect to get our doors absolutely blown off in the second half and for the game to be over by the Under 12.

If they don’t make the elite eight I’ll agree with you. Like I said I do think Pitino was out coached and we didn’t get much help from brown, which makes me wonder about young. He may be too risky. Anderson is a guarantee winner, though got a feeling he will get a better offer.

Wouldn’t be stunned if he stays and leaves next year as well.

I think it is crazy to expect to win these games, but I do think we should expect a more competitive showing particularly with Pitino on the bench who is a more accomplished coach than anybody we will face. Why can SPU keep it competitive against a 5-star loaded Kentucky team or Princeton do it against an Arizona team and we can’t give ourselves a puncher’s chance against UConn, keeping it interesting for the final 8-10 minutes of the game?

Yes it’s not crazy to expect us to win. Everyone else has, we’ve had 14 chances since 80! It’s actually crazy that we haven’t one 1 or more games. The statistical odds are very much against this!

I know, he screwed ayo all year then screwed Weiss in his last game, just like Myers last year.i said all year if his name wasn't Pitino so many questions would have been out there

Hawkins and Sanogo are absolute nightmare matchups This is true. Sanogo isn’t just strong, his footwork in the post is off the charts good. Hawkins a VG shooter, and Klingon an excellent rim protector.
