Get your season tix! Let’s keep the 90% and sellouts going Student attendance will be interesting. This staff and this team appears to be focused on getting out there and meeting people on campus (of course this will matter more in another month). We lose the RP bagmen but hopefully will gain students and other locals who were not alienated from the past regime. |

I think you will see students more engaged because they will relate more to Anderson and the new players. I felt the 2 non Covid years that Pitino coached, the students were very quiet, even though the attendance was pretty strong. The only time they seemed to cheer was when Carey played. |

Students these days don't seem to have any school spirit or interest in attending games. If you notice a lot of the time a majority are athletes from other sports who attend the games. |

I have to say that I think that Iona students have really turned out in the last two years to support the team. And it might be true that many of the students do play other sports but they did turn out. And I'm sure that there were promotions involved. But for the most part the student section was usually filled.

The students are god awful at cheering. The one time they actually stood on their feet was for Manhattan and then they left at halftime. Hopefully something changes

Spend some time with them. Start with the defensive chant “harass them, harass them; make them relinquish the ball.” |
