Just never know,especially in the new NIL world. PG from Vanderbilt was supposedly going to commit weeks ago. We kept on waiting for the announcement, only to find out their was now a "west coast" commit, and that took another week..lol. Iona was in a good spot with Gurugordon, only to be surprised by his visit to Siena. As far as too many Bigs? I'm not so sure the thought Tobin likes to play small is totally true, at least now at Iona. The current roster of 9 players only has 1 kid shorter than 6'3...Jeremiah Quigley. IF Iona were to get both Adewale and Krystkowiak, I still believe the staff will be looking to add a rebounding type big, with one of the remaining 2 scholarships. Of course, that's if the mystery commit doesn't happen. Not small like under 6ft, small like 4 smalls and 1 big, hard to press with a real 4 and 5 on the court at the same time |

I view Saunders not getting much PT, especially after listening to his AAU coach on Guy's podcast. Adewale is pretty athletic, but again he's a FR, so remains to be seen how much he plays. Shema has proven he is very effective in the uptempo style with pressure D. Don't know much about Krystkowiak other than he's a 6'9 kid who has shot 43% from three over 2 seasons. If they were to add another big, he would be athletic enough to play pressure D and uptempo, not a big kid who plays with his back to the basket. Just saying there are a few big kids still out there that would fit the system. Don't be surprised if they recruit one of them |

I really don't know enough about TA's offense, but even if we get the latest two guys (6'8 and 6'9) we still don't seem to have a guy who plays with his back to the basket. More like four PF's. Does anyone see it differently? I agree we need at least 1 experienced traditional 4/5 who isnt a stretch 4/5. |

I fully expect TA to recruit more than okay PFs and centers. As you can tell from some previous posts, if a recruit snoozes he loses and winds up at Siena.
