I like Walter and Daniss, I will never hate them (as I do Pitino), but probably unlike most of you I will not root for them at St. Chicken. I will root against them just like I have for anything St. Chicken related for the past 40 years. As this relates to fandom this is as tough as it gets, for me this compares to if the Yanks signed Alonso and Lindor at the same time or the Giants did the same with Garrett Wilson and Sauce Gardner. Can't even compare it to a trade because we are getting nothing back! Exactly. Would be shocked if both don't commit this weekend. Both will get big money, play in Big East and in front of sold out crowds at MSG. Wish them well. Having said that, like I posted earlier. Not enough can go wrong for Pitino at SJU. Zero chance I would ever hope for SJU to have any type of success. You can tell by the difference in the announcements tweeted by Iona for both coaches leaving. That it's obvious the administration feels he screwed them over. |

I thought RP would bring in a better backcourt that would be Big East ready. They were in the MAAC for a reason. Big East is a whole other animal
