St. Francis (Pa.) was the holdup? That's the only name I don't remember reading. Nice that it's complete. Pretty decent sked considering a coaching change. The Red Flash of Loretto, PA. It’s been a long while since we played them.

Actually that game has been known, just not publicized. Pretty sure the holdup was settling on a date with Hofstra. Guy, known by you and known by me are not the same thing. Hahaha. I do remember Dave Magarity was once head coach in Loretto.

He was before my time but I had some friends that attended SF years ago and I always remember his name come up. Apparently, died at a very early age.

Cjb, pretty sure we played against him. He was a great player and came down with a disease (forget the name) which caused his death at an early age. As an invalid he was cared for by Jack Twyman, who was a pro teammate of MO's. At SF, he played against some great teams, St. Bonaventure and Duquense(Sp?). Bob Lanier, the Stith brothers, and Shiugo Green were other stars of that era.

I'll let you know after I see the team on the court. Just for awareness, if you say something now, you are allowed to change your mind in October LOL

I don't want people saying that when it comes to picking games, I'm just as bad as Guy. Games that I think we'll be underdogs: Charleston, Colorado, St. Joe's and Hofstra (might be a pickem). And I expect we'll win one of them. (1-3). Games we'll be favorite: SH, and SF. Should win both (2-0) Too close to call, Harvard and Colgate (1-1) Florida Tourney (2-1). We usually do well in Florida tourneys. And using my calculator, that makes us 6-5. And that should be enough to make me happy.

I'll say 7-4 and 14-6, so 24-10 15 seed😁 As long as we improve as the season goes on I'll be good

I can see us teetering between 5-6 and 6-5 depending how a few games fall. Can easily see 4 or 5 of these games go either way. Trying to anticipate some growing pains and establishing roles. With that being said, I think 14-6 in the MAAC is doable, maybe even better if we find our groove like I think we will.
Charleston - L (0-1) Sacred Heart - W (1-1) High Point - W (2-1) Long Beach St (My Guess) - L (2-2) Hofstra (My Guess) - L (2-3) Colorado - L (2-4) Hofstra Rematch at Hynes - W (3-4) St. Francis - W (4-4) St. Joe's - L (4-5) Colgate - L (4-6) Harvard - W (5-6)
This should get us firmly out of 16 seed conversations (even though Tobin can clearly win as a 16!)

11-0! I'm always optimistic when it comes to Iona. We never lost a game we didn't play.
