I can say now that I'm 99% certain Tobin's not going to set up a 1-for-1 with an NEC school.

Would FDU's NCAA performance help raise the NEC profile? I doubt it. It will be talked about at the start of next year's tournament and that's it. Maybe I'm missing something, but have not noticed the great SPU run help the MAAC on a national level. Helped putting a few extra bucks in each programs pockets. |

The notion that conference affiliation, without reference to NET ranking, is determinative is ridiculous. You’ll see this sort of thinking, last relevant 40 years ago, on the Fordham board. |
