Any scoop on that Ft. Myers tournament? This would be the event. Gulf Coast Showcase Monday–Wednesday, November 20–22: Estero, Fla. Buffalo (MAC) George Washington (Atlantic 10) Valparaiso (MVC) Wright State (Horizon) 4 TBD However, I'm not 100% these 4 are all even in it. For example, the Valpo board suggests they are not involved in this event, FWIW. Heard some other names, but can't say with certainty who's in and who's out--and since there's been no official announcement of the field, that would support that anyway. Just know it's going to be a good mid-major event for us, we'll be tested before eating turkey and then flying to Colorado. Thanks Guy! I’m going to be in Naples around that time. Looks like a decent field for the MTE but I hope the TBDs include A-10 or MVC schools. Any insight on who will fill those spots? I'd like it to be high profile mids.

And Buffalo is Mid-American, another high mid conf. UTEP is team #7. They're CUSA. Plenty of high mids in this group. |
