Great pickup. A smart gym rat... my type of player. Out of prep he had offers from Brown, UMASS, Portland State. Played Prep at Northfield Mount Hermon where he was a teammate of Chris Ledlum (Harvard- now Tennessee). Cam has always had skill but his body needed to fill out as he was a late bloomer. Cam then missed his freshman year at Dartmouth with an injury. Cams efforts as a sophomore earned him the position of Captain for this past season.
His father not only played 9 years in the NBA, he was the 3× Big Sky Player of the Year. One year his dad averaged 12.7 and 7.6 for there Bucks. His father is Montana's all time leader in points (2,017) and rebounds (1105). He was also the HC at Montana (2004-06) and Utah from 2011-2021 and took them to the sweet 16 in 2015 where they lost to eventual NCAA champ 63-57. It was a shame he had his career ruined by Bill Laimbeer in the playoffs.
Cam's has two brothers who play ball.
Ben Krystkowiak - 6'4" G who was a freshman at RMU this past season with Trey James. He did not play so I assume he will be redshirted. Played prep at IMG where he averaged 14.3 points and 4.2 assists per game.
Luc Krystkowiak - 6'4" G. Played at Utah under his dad the then did a year at Irvine Valley College (JUCO) where he averaged 14.8 pts, 8.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists. He spent last year as a walk-on at Arizona.

Hard to judge his handle in those highlights, but solid catch and shoot and inside skills... very nice addition.

I think we hold for a summer transfer. Grads can still transfer, and if not December. Of course if someone special can be signed in May, we won’t hold. Also odds say one of these kids we sign won’t make it to opening day, it often happens. So in a way you don’t even have to hold. Odds don't say that, they are all late signings, I would be shocked if they aren't all on the roster |

It happens most years. Hopefully not but wouldn’t be surprised if it happens. Remember mcGills teammate disappearing after 2 days of summer class. Last year it was Grullion. One year a kid got shot and killed. Can’t think of all examples but it happens many years. |
