Does anyone here have access to the Fordham Message Board? I had same thought but couldnt find a current one. Not a lot of details available. Low scoring game--obviously the D performed well. This was a concern of mine, so happy to see it. Heard frosh performed well.

Why is Super having secret scrimmages? Thought you’d never ask!

Given the fact that it was just a scrimmage, perhaps Tobin decided to allow Fordham fans have some measure of dignity. Tobin is well aware of Fordham’s 35 year record of futility, and the Rams finally are no longer a bad joke.

broguy, I don't know the rules of this particular scrimmage, but often they are broken down by halfs or quarters. And scores go back to 0-0 when the new period starts. So I guess the use of the word tie, could mean that each team won an equal amount of the periods played. And I guess it's possible that it was played like a regular game w/o OT. Bottom line to me would mean how many minutes did they play and did they keep a running score. Others might have a different 'take'.

I was told that both teams dedicated the scrimmage to me.

Jaden, thanks. Was there any posts about yesterday's scrimmage?

Since both of our scrimmages are against A-10 teams I'm wondering if the Conference has had a Media Day, and where the two teams were picked to finish.

What a mess. But this also bodes well for us, as I noted yesterday. Playing an "upper level A10 team" to a draw on the road is an excellent sign. Can't wait for Charleston!

I'll admit that I know little about A10 teams, but in these days of the Portal, I'm guessing that PS rankings mean less than in the pre Portal days.
