Are all the reserved seats chairbacks? I might have an extra ticket if someone is looking.

No, we actually played them on 1/27/81 at Iona, we won 109-83. That Sacred Heart team went to the NCAA regional finals of the Div 2 tournament. Four years later they would win the Div 2 National Championship. For about 10 years or so they were one of the Top Div 2 schools in the country. Oh that game doesn’t show up in the head to head record I use because they were D-2 I guess.

Is it too early to say that this is a must win game? While our defense against Charleston exceeded everyone's (probably) expectations, we struggled on offense. And, to be honest, outside of Greg Gordon, only our frosh guards, Quigley and Aranguren, looked like scoring threats on a consistent basis. Since it was our first game I still have hopes that Panzo shows why he was a top 3pt shooter at Stetson, and Williams shows why he won ROY at Southern. At least I believe he did. Our starting backcourt looks solid, with Tretout ready to battle GG for the team's scoring leader. Brown looks able to run the offense, but doubt that he'll put up big scoring numbers. In time Bates might step up, but we don't really know. Adewale's contributions this year will probably be rebounding and defense, as his offensive game will take some time. No doubt that Oz will contribute, but not sure when that will be. Confident that the HAC will be packed and the fans excited for this game.
Three point shooting will be key, imo.

Your amount of worry is astounding. We've all been saying all offseason it will take a while to gel, and now we throw in an Os injury. And then we go to Charleston and almost win. You should be encouraged, not worried. Also, there are no must-win games in November, not when you're not lining up for an at-large.

Guy, I must say I'm not surprised at your response, and don't really disagree with it. But, even though it's early, it's never too early to have concerns, even if (as I've posted) I am encouraged. I go back three seasons and posted concerns about the team after a loss at Niagara, you said, "look at the freakin record". Chalk it up to "See something, say something".

Not a "must" game, but I have this game as our most important OOC game. IMO, sets the tone for the remaining OOC schedule.
Don't want to be 0-2, losing Tobin’s 1st home game, heading into the Florida tournament followed by A Colorado.
The Florida tournament, based off lots of projections, is much better than I think some of us believed. Every game will be a toss up. Just think it would be important to have a W beforehand

I'll stand by my take that there are no must-wins in November, particularly when your starting center and game-changer on both ends is going to be out the whole month.

Seeing as Iona is probably going to be close to a double-digit favor, I wouldn't say must win, but I think all of us had this down as a W when thinking about OOC record.
Keep the ball rolling with the performance from Monday and we will be fine. Hopefully the crowd will give the guys some extra confidence.
Speaking of the crowd, now the Iona ticket site shows Zero tickets left remaining. Interested to hear if they publicize that the game is a sellout or if the site is having any bugs.

I can't fathom the "must win" stuff for Friday. Just enjoy the freakin' game.
