Tough to start 1-3, but you see the potential, and this is without Shema. I think we will like what we see by the end of the year. Frustrating part is Iona never wins close games once they fall behind. One stupid fall on a 3 and we were done!

I watched the HP game yesterday and today’s game in the office. The team is talented and I’m not concerned about either loss. It’s going to take some time for this team to mesh. I love the 5 freshmen on the court yesterday. I trust TA to get these guys playing together.

Osborn will make this a capable team. Jean is really good and so is Quigley. Sultan is a more than capable backup for Osborn come MAAC. Would like to see much more out of Williams. 4 turnovers, 4 fouls and 0FG attempts in 12 minutes today.

Instead of driving to the foul line and kicking it back out.

Sounds trivial and I know Tobin’s offense is different, but not having a post player like Nelly last year hurts. At least you have a go to if there’s a mismatch inside or the offense is stagnant.

Osborn will make this a capable team. Jean is really good and so is Quigley. Sultan is a more than capable backup for Osborn come MAAC. Would like to see much more out of Williams. 4 turnovers, 4 fouls and 0FG attempts in 12 minutes today. We sure have big expectations for Shema. Hope the fan base is right that he will bring significant improvement to the team. Love the guy to death but I’m not as sold as many. Hope I’m wrong and that he can stay clear of fouls and injuries… |

To be honest, I'm a big Oz fan, but have no idea how he'll fit in TA's offense. On defense, I'm pretty sure that shot blocking and altering will be a big help. |

In fairness today we saw a few screens and a handful of cuts. As the season progresses I think we will see more movement toward the basket. |
