Being of Irish descent, I was getting ready for a weekend of St. Patrick's Day celebration. And then my wife who is of Italian descent, suggested we start by attending a movie. I asked which one, and she told me to wait until she knows that tickets will be available. Of course they were on a Friday at 12:45, but it was a movie that I had never heard of called, "Cabrini". It is the story of Mother Cabrini arriving in America and the obstacles that she and her fellow nuns had to overcome in order to serve the Italian American immigrants. It's a great, great, great movie and I recommend it all. And that's coming from an Irish guy. Seriously, if you get the opportunity to see it, let me know what you think.

Very good movie. Exceeded my expectation.

83, glad you enjoyed it, and it wasn't the story I expected. I thought that she, and her other sisters had been greeted with open arms, knowing that she had come to work with the Italian poor in NYC.
Left the theater thinking of Watergate and the advice to Follow the Money. But really an enjoyable movie.
