Ran out of gas at No. 18, not shocking. Excellent effort and great performances from everyone. Again that was against the 18th-ranked team on the road. If Saunders can become a legit 3 pt threat than this team will be tough to beat in conf play. Williams has been a player who doesn't seem to producing much so far. Not sure what his role will be as the season goes on. Quigley will be a first team all MAAC by end of his 4 years. Looking forward to how the press/defense comes out at home vs Marist and @ff this upcoming week. Need to cleanup the half court D. Saunders is legit. Really like the way he plays out there, and he is only a Freshman!! |

Thanks. I thought this was a forum to voice opinions. I understand why he wants to press but I think making adjustments when it is not working is sometimes warranted. In one of the recent pressers Tobin said his approach is to run the press and let them learn from their mistakes in OOC, while in MAAC play he would consider adjustments if the team isn’t running the press effectively at that point. We are in the learning stage. |

Iona played decent. Very difficult to stay close without Brown and Shema. Quigley is impressive. Gordon and Tretout played mostly well. Saunders has the ability to be a sniper from 3, on the defensive side he simply isn’t physically ready yet.
Gaels have a very tough OOC, so need to win the 2 upcoming Maac games to stay near .500 before January maac play. Most of the Maac is going to have major problems with our press, especially if we can get healthy.

Bright spots: Saunders with three nice 3’s Really like Brice’s motor. The kid hustles. Would like to see this group with Oz and Brown. Agree. Another bright spot was the Livvy Dunne commercials. I enjoy watching this group. This game only helps us get ready for MAAC play when we will have Oz and Brown. Go Gaels!!! You got some inside info on Oz and Brown? We start MAAC play on Wednesday and I'd be surprised if both/either play. |

We were outmanned and outsized, but we played with a big heart. Really proud of the effort. Marist, imo, is better than what a lot of people think, but we'll be at home and that should be a big help.

If madness was today, Colorado would be anywhere from a 4 to 6 seed. This team is deep and legite. I see them only improving and moving up their ranking. That freshman kid Dak who played limited minutes was a freak. Skilled dribbler and soft hands around the rim. |

You'd think in Colorado with this altitude and a short bench they would not press all game, it makes no sense. Short bench is 10 guys, it is our system get over yourself |
