Will be in attendance. Looking forward to seeing the new arena for the first time. As for this game and the rest of the season, I'm going in with no expectations. I think what's been forgotten by many since the transfer portal craze started is that it's still rare for coaches to come into a program and win big immediately. I went back and looked at Tobin's record in his first year at STAC and it was about .500. Every season after that was 20-plus wins and a huge success. It's obviously been a frustrating season thus far, but have to think big picture and look at the freshman class. I trust where the program is heading.

Aren’t they all in MAAC conf play? I was kinda mocking some Iona fans. Unless you're playing for an at-large bid, there are no must-win games until March. |

I have a better feeling about this game than I did for Marist. We may not win, but I don't expect a rock fight like last night.

But if the Gaels pulled it out at the end that would have been something. Winning when you aren't playing well, by sheer will, that is something. Also fundamentals are paramount - especially when you aren't playing well. Doing the little things right makes the difference between winning & losing in a game like that. The alley oop play was a killer. |
