I thought the older players were going to be more effective and through 10 games, really only Panzo has been consistent (and even he disappears here and there like he did tonight).
The real season starts in a few weeks with 18 more MAAC games, but use these next 3 to see who's going to get the most mins. Williams turned my head tonight. He's athletic as hell, has size, and shocking a player who hits his FTs on this team.
Assuming Shema is back for MAAC play, my guess is the best 5 should be Quigley, Arenguren, Panzo, Williams, Shema.

Team gives good effort, and that is worth something. Plenty of room for improvement. I think St. Josephs are gonna be 10pt favorites on neutral court.

It’s a win, and it was without Gordon who could have really helped today. Positives are we found that Jean and Williams can be major contributors the rest of the way. Saturday is going to be tough, but playing teams like St. Joes can only help us come Maac play.

There are no shooters on this team. None. Wheza Panzo disagrees--though certainly he can't be expected to make shots when the other 4 guys aren't. |
