I have some ticket clarifications from Tom Moran: Most, but not all, tickets have been distributed. The last wave will be sent during the day Friday. If folks are expecting tickets and have not received, they may just not have been sent yet. Concerns? Email is best: tickets@iona.edu. Since the actual tickets are distributed by UBS Arena, the "from name" on the email is the New York Islanders. Fans should look for an email with that “from name”, and also check their junk folder. All parking will be handled by UBS Arena, Iona has nothing to do with that. Pay for parking in advance at Parkwiz.com. This isn’t like jet and giant games where you have to pay for parking in advance? Just want to confirm? Last time I paid when I entered. From an email from Tom today: DRIVING & PARKING Pre-paid parking is on sale up to the time parking lots open for event. We highly encourage purchasing parking online in advance. For this event, guests can purchase passes for: Belmont Park Garage access only via Cross Island Parkway Exit 26A Emerald Parking access only via Cross Island Parkway Exit 26D Silver Parking access only via Cross Island Parkway Exit 26B (Hempstead Turnpike East) Free shuttles are available to and from Emerald Parking. Please note that access to UBS Arena via Cross Island Parkway Exit 26B (Hempstead Turnpike East) is only available for pre-paid Silver Parking pass holders. |

From their website: General paid parking is available on event days at Emerald Parking, located off Cross Island Parkway Exit 26D.
Edited to note that this is nowhere near the arena, there must be a shuttle service from here to arena.

JB, my guess is that many people going to the earlier games enter those parking lots and leave after the earlier games. I would just go to those parking lots and I would think that there will be spaces available. Of course it's easy for me to say as I'm not going.

How much they get ya for? I've only parked there once and I think it was 50 bucks! It was $40 plus tax but app offered a 10% discount if clicking on holiday10 discount, so $39 and change. |

Does anyone have any sense of what the in-arena food options will be? I know that big arenas will typically keep many concession stands closed and offer limited choices for low-attendance events. Maybe the folks going to the earlier games can let us know? Thanks

Feelings about tonight's game:
*Feel good about our freshmen backcourt.
*Feel good about WP's 3pt shooting.
*Not so good about the expected starting backcourt.
*Feel good that a surprise player will step up.
*Feel the following are question marks. Adewale, Shema, and Williams.
Feel that in order to stay in the game, our expected starting backcourt has to play well.
