Ignores the fact that there is a different team playing. So Gaels could play as well as they did in Colgate game and Harvard could play much better than Colgate did and you have a close game either way. |

Harvard opens -1. Expected a MUCH higher number. Harvards leading scorer, Malik Mack is out with mono. Without mack they avg 9 assists/ 9 t/o, so not sure they can handle the press. Pg the last game avg 1 assist a game in 3 yrs. If their center doesn't play either they lose the height advantage also. Could be the perfect opponent before conference play. |

My point is that I don't think it will be a close game. Logic would say Iona, as you could make the argument that the good Iona team (last game) replaced the bad Iona team (next to last). Of course, spoil sport greg had to shoot down this theory. P.S. I do have a number of game day omens, which should give me a better idea. |

ESPN site, despite having Iona -2.5, shows a Gamecast predictor favoring Harvard 54% to 46% (numbers rounded).
