For a 5th year senior, Treout really lacks basketball IQ. just takes terrible shots. Sad part is that he was our best offensive player today with few other players contributing.

Mind boggling the amount of missed two on ones and layups.
This team never had an alpha/go to player. Gordon probably the closest thing.
Would much rather see Brice or Saunders pick up Bates minutes. Bates rarely produces and it’s like 5 on 4 whenever he’s out there.

A common theme this year is not playing with any sense of urgency until it's basically too late. Iona did play with urgency about four times today when we were able to cut Mount leads of either 8 or 10 to tied or two or three. Problem is we were never able to get over the hump and open up that necessary 5 point lead to push forward. This was a game of runs until the Mount just salted it away at the end.

He had 21pts, but he had a bad game. Some terrible shots, especially the wild layup end of 1st half which led to a MSM bucket

They have some individual talent, but it's talent that doesn't compliment with others.

The problem with the team, all season, is the underwhelming grad transfers. The season is on life support, if not already over. Nice group of guys, but just not good enough. Let's see what the younger guys can contribute

Some terrible shots, especially the wild layup end of 1st half which led to a MSM bucket I agree he had an off game but with “bad Panzo” showing up and an uneven scoring game from Quigley, he wound up being our best option. I believe he fouled out with about 1:30 to go and I believe we were down 4. I knew at that point we were toast.

Based upon first half scoring totals, I have to say that these are two evenly matched MAAC teams. And, yes I'm talking about Iona and SIENA. Each have scorched the nets for 25 points. Siena fans tell me that they have an excuse as they are missing their three top players. I retort that we have neither Gordon or Farias. Might have lost to MSM but we did out score Siena by a SINGLE POINT. And we did it without Gordon or Farias. And if our coaching staff were set up like a FB coaching staff, I wouldn't know if we should fire our OC or our DC. On offense we can't execute a basic two on one fast break. And on defense it seems that all too often we leave corner three point shooters wide open for uncontested three's. I guess defense is worse since we shoot so many three's that we must spend a lot of practice time defending against three point shooting. Bottom line, I doubt that any coaching changes will happen, other than internal changes.

You do realize that a certain board member is waiting for everybody to make their comments on today’s game before he critiques your views. Just sayin…

They play hard and we have seen enough of the frosh to say did any get better as the season went on? How the hell has no one told the freshmen not to pick up their dribble in the lane, they all do it. Q gets 8 ft away and shoots 25%, he used the backboard one game and didn't miss. I'm sorry but this is on the coaches. I don't think we are going dancing but there is no reason to see improvement as the year went on
