Fordham beats Seton Hall at Walsh on a Joebird Special. Game was at Walsh and FU was the last visiting team to win there in the RS back in 1989.

Quinny over SJU 39-35 at the half I'm watching it. In the first half SJU had a shot clock violation, and I don't remember a HC screaming at an AC like Rick did. Real class.

I thought Quinny looked pretty good. Did you watch 2nd half? Did you watch Yale shred them?

I only watched the first half and was expecting the Johnnies to pull away, which they did. As for Yale, I'm not sure if you can compare games this early in the season. Princeton game is a good example. In the 1st half they looked better than we did, last night. IMO. I didn't see their Yale game, but based on that game, from what I read, they looked better than what I was expecting.

Unfortunate anti-Iona scheduling. Vermont, playing their 3rd road game in 6 days, getting handled at Merrimack, but they don't play again until us next Friday. You know they'll be in a better frame of mind.

For those binging hoops, 2 of our Bahamas opponents, Rice and Tarleton, are on Espn+ right now.

Two guys I had never heard of before the season started, Shoats from Siena and McMillan from Canisius, both had 31 points over the weekend. I mention them because I believe it's much too early to form an opinion of how good or bad the MAAC will be this year. And, I include Iona, once we go small, or as we say in my family, go short.

Very good 59. I’ll bet you have some good, Short stories to share…

Add Niagara's leading scorer to the players I never heard of list. After this week, Guy, or someone, should consider putting together a list of the Top Ten new guys, not including Iona players. JAS.
