Of why it's no longer being held in Albany, despite good attendance. Siena defeated Navy, last night by nine points, and in front of 5800+ fans. And Navy shot 5-9 from the FT line. Siena shot 17-27, or three times the Navy attempts. Hence, we'll be playing the tourney in Springfield for the next three years. Just a reminder.

I know many disagree, but I'd still rather be playing in front of 6000 in Albany then 1200 in Springfield. And I believe every time we have had the best team in Albany we have won the tournament. So I don't see the problem.

Springfield would be more appealing, if the league grows in the Northeast direction. I'd prefer Mohegan Sun arena in CT which would get 6000 on a bad night. You would think one of the NJ arenas would want it, that have lost the NJ Nets.

gregcrow, the PROBLEM was that you weren't playing on an even playing field. You didn't have to have the best team, you had to have the (way) best team. Other than the home court disadvantage, I think we all liked the TUC.

i thought webster hall arena was nice last year....maybe thats just because my travel time to the tourney only took 5 minutes. As long as the tourney never goes up to buffalo, i'll stay happy
