I love seeing the headine on the Yahoo Sports, "Iona Wallops Maryland 89-63". I don't know how long it will stay up.

Well done Gaels!!!
It was fun to be able to watch a Gaels game on t.v. with my dad. Not many opportunities to do that down here in fla!!! They looked fantastic.

gatorgael, I'm glad you got to watch with your Dad. Win or lose, that's a good thing -- better with the win, though. Please come back often and talk your Dad into joining the site. This should be a fun year with this talented team.
Go Gaels!

Maryland fans already whining about a coaching change. Losss to IONA??? ......blah blah blah.
Scott was OUTSTANDING!, I too was very concerned with him going down the way he did. I rewinded the play a half dozen time while he was on the floor trying to see if he'd really gotton hurt. Seems like they had a ral moisture problem but that happens when you're in those warmer climates.
Momo, Glover, Kyle et al all seemed to be able to make things happen. This team is incredibly deep. Just need to stay focused and take one game at a time. The Maryland beating might not be the last one that we see. ;-)
Congrats to Coach & his staff. After a tough loss to Purdue they regrouped and now they head home with some momentum.

Man, did we put it on Maryland or what. When Maryland got the lead down to 7 in the second half I was somewhat concerned but the guys responded by running them totally out of the gym.
Loved hearing Gottlieb talk about Machado. It was almost as if Scott was an afterthough with having Glover and Momo but it is clear to me that this team will go as far as Scotts take them.
While the 'Triplets' all had huge games - Randy also played a great game...he is 100% activity and energy!!!
