The good news is that they've got plenty of time to fix it . Heck, they can even make renovations to Hynes before we play there again. ;D

There is a simple reason for the problem - our offense is so high-powered that the stats scoreboard can't keep up! ;D

They're getting some pretty good local coverage, Tuesday's post had a quarter page top headline for Monday's game, The journal news has given them better coverage, and news 12 has covered them well. It also helps that Machado's name keeps getting thrown out there as being a top 5 point guard, while being compared against top point guards in other broadcasts. Combine that with the hype Glover and MoMo get and the publics awareness of Iona is higher currently than normal. So if they come back strong from December I expect the Hynes to be packed for every game.

JN coverage has been much better than in the past. However, very disappointed with the Daily News. They are only putting Brennan's stories online, last year they made the ink. They seem to have a story on SJU a few times a week. They need to change this and start covering NY's team . I think there will be several games this year where you will actually need to purchase a ticket in advance. The Fairfield game and the bracket buster I think will be SRO and sold out in advance. The only advance sell out ever at Iona was against Fordham in 85 and back than it could fit 3200. Too bad the capacity is just 2600 because I do think you could get 4M for the two games mentioned above.

Or, you can just get a season ticket package.

Yes this is the one year having season tickets is going to be beneficial. May even be able to sell some on Stub Hub for the two games I was talking about. Although no way I would get rid of these priceless tickets!

I'm guessing this scoredboard has been redshirted for the year.

I'm guessing this scoredboard has been redshirted for the year. I think you're right. Why spend the money at this point with the newly expanded Hynes's jumbotron coming.
