A note from Jay regarding our more local non-Hynes games...
Iona returns to the Metropolitan area on Dec. 29 and take on Hofstra at the Mack Sports Complex in Hempstead, NY. The 7:00 pm tip off will be preceded by a pregame Goal Club reception for members at 6:00 pm.
Hofstra is a worthy opponent and our team needs your support. Tickets are $12 which includes admission to the reception. Goal Club Members, please RSVP to Jay Judge (jjudge@iona.edu) if you would like to attend the reception.
Just after the New Year, the Gaels take on Siena at Madison Square Garden. Iona makes a triumphant return to the Garden after a brief one-year hiatus. The game will begin at 9:00 pm with a pregame reception at 7:00 pm in the Garden Terrace.
A ticket and reception package has been put together to be purchased through IonaConnections.com. Tickets in the 100 Level of Madison Square Garden and entrance to the reception are $80, Tickets in the 200 Level are $70, and 300 Level are $50 and also grant entrance into the reception. (Edit from Guy: you can also get just tickets only for 60, 50, 30, or 15 for students.)
Game tickets for Iona-Siena also gain entrance to the first game of the doubleheader featuring St. John’s and Louisville at 7:00 pm.

OK, Guy again. I'm not sure what I'm doing for Siena yet--if I go at all I'll do the cheap seats and the reception, but a weeknight game at MSG tipping at 9:30 isn't easy when you live up the line in CT. As for Hofstra, that's a slam dunk. We can talk carpool for that one. Oh, back to MSG, we can talk about carpooling that too, and splitting the cost of parking and tolls.
