One thing I haven't seen noted about Armand is he scored 32 point in 22 minutes! That is pretty amazing.
Also does anyone know what the MSG College basketball record for 3's in game is. I am surprised Armand didn't break that?

Garden staff is in research mode now. Could be building record, college or pro... at least tied.
I think one of our guys is also trying to figure out how many seconds he actually had possession of the ball... Antwan Jamison score 33 points against Duke one time and only had the ball for 45 seconds...

Thanks SID, have to believe it at least ties College record. Really a remarkable accomplishment especially in 22 minutes. Could be NCAA record for most 3 pointers per minute in one game.

Do we think Armand is a lock to start from here on in? Cluess seems to like using him as a 6th man type. By his Senior Year, he may be a 20 point a game guy.

Cluess stated he plays guys based on how hard they work during the practice week. Game performance doesn't guarantee a start.

AGREED. I'd actually prefer to have him as a weapon off the bench. An insurance policy when our O is struggling a bit. Same with Jermel. Those are extremely valuable roles on a team and give it great depth.

Cluess won't change his style--he'll play certain guys based on matchups.
Having Armand (and for that matter JJ) is a luxury off the bench, no doubt. That said, Iona needs Smyth healthy and hitting shots.
