Kid is a star. Not many Iona players have breached the 30 point mark as a soph. One of purest shooters in Iona history
My only hope is we find him significant minutes to continue to develop his game.
Reminds me of Wes Jenkins of St. Peters

The closest former Iona player might be Kevin Hamilton. Over the years, we haven't had many great catch and shoot guys. Armand has a chance to be very special.

John Wayne, riding in to save the day. Maybe I'll call him "Duke"
Sean was fabulous last night from 3; loved his six RB's and 2 steals also. He needs to be more than a one-dimensional player, even if that one dimension is fabulous at times.

On second thought, I think I might call Sean "Clancy" as in "Clancy Lowers the Boom"

Kevin Hamilton - including the moon ball that looks like it tails into the hoop.

As Sean was going off last night, I was reminded of Warren Isaacs' 50 point night some 45, plus, years ago. I got a kick out of Ed Ingles' comment that Sean was getting tired in the second half.
Warren rang up his 50 when there was no shot clock, and no three point shot. What an incredible accomplishment for both of these guys!

Definitely, Kevin Hamilton. He's a stand still shooter and doesn't shoot (at least not that I've seen) off the dribble. If open he's pretty deadly, but Kyle can shoot on the move and to a lesser extent so can JJ and MoMo.

Anyone remember Jeff Williams (I believe from Long Island) who played on the last Valvano team and on Pat Kennedy's first team. He could certainly shoot the lights out, if given enough time and the proper room to shoot. I think he was roughly the same size as Sean. He kinda got lost in the transition from Valvano to Kennedy.

Yes I remember him. I think he ended up transferring to LIU or Wagner. Good shooter. More explosive than Sean as I remember.
