Of the remaining 14 scheduled MAAC games, according to Jeff Sagarins, his probability analysis has: 4 games in the 90th percentile win category, 7 games in the 80th percentile win category, and 3 games in the 60th percentile win category. That rates amongst the easiest remaining schedules for most teams of noteworthy consequence. But knowing the MAAC and its variable predictabity, and how teams prepare for certain games (with Iona as their key hunted target), we can expect some problems along the way with the likelihood of an upset game or two loss. Beyond these 14 games, we will play 4 other games: 3 in the MAAC tournament and 1 in the bracket buster. The MAAC tourny games, of course, we be in the win probability, and the bracket buster is an unknown at this point, but has the benefit of being a home game.
I guess you can tell by my post that I have nothing better to do than ponder here. My condition is improving each day, and I hope to see you courtside at a game some point soon. I even purchased a new travel wheelchair for this purpose. My son jokes that that's the first brand new vehicle I've ever owned!

When you ponder, I learn. And I love it!

I would like to point out if we had Samuels right now we would be in the 99th percentile of winning out. I miss him at the 5.

OT, great to hear from you. One thing I've learned about the Gaels, this year and last year's MAAC tournament, is that we look great when the threes are falling and struggle when they're not. So I guess I'm looking for improvement as the year goes on when we have to get to the basket to score, and we did see a little of that at the start of the second half in Friday's game. Hope to see more of that as we go through January and February.
