Those prayer shots of Momo are his signature. He did it last year in the tournament, ask the Duke players

This team is a complete enigma. Surviving at home against a bad team is just not good enough. Scott gets a triple double, Glover and Momo 20+ yet they barely win. Momo is a good player but 40 minutes, I just don't get it? Jenkins just 1 minute, now appears to be behind Fields in the rotation. This is a mistake by Cluess that is going to cost this team a Maac tourney championship. This kid is getting hosed.
Enough of the team being tired, at this point everyone is the same, and they wouldn't be as tired if Cluess used his bench more.
I just don't get a good feeling of how this season will end.

Good win. No legs in the second half and we still pulled it out. Triple Double for Scott, 10,11,11. Criticize MoMo all you want, he put us on his back in the middle of the game when we had some scoring issues going on. That's tough going down to Balt. and returning right back home to play. Rest up for Wed. night fellas. Bill, these are well conditoned kids. It isn't us middle aged men going ALL THE WAY TO BALTIMORE. You have got to be kidding me. Not that excuse, please.

Its not so much the length of the travel, but the getting back late, short time for recovery - that was a physical game. Short time for game prep. Its late in the season. Its not an excuse. Teams get tired. I don't care if they're 20 or 35. This was a tough game and we won. Good job.

Nobody has had to carry the load we have this year. 2/3's of our games are on the road. Puerto Rico, on the road for the entire month of December. Expectations all year long, can't lose a game or we'll lose an at-large. Nobody in this conf. has had to deal with all this except for us. And you guys are complaining abot a 9 pt. win over a conference opponent who knows us inside and out. What are we supposed to do, beat everyone by 30 pts? How realistic is that, total domination? Are we Kentucky or something?

They have barely traveled since before xmas. Its getting hard to continue to make excuses for this team, it is now or never. I have to be honest in I won't be happy with this year unless from this point on they win 8 more games in a row, maybe I am being greedy but talent like this just isn't on mid major rosters too often, and they need to take advantage of it.

Much like the Canisius/Manhattan combo, I hope we are not Sharp today vs Marist because it means we will be at Rider. Sent from my ADR6300 using ProBoards Got what I wanted. Iona will play a VERY good game at Rider. Very comfortable about that.

The problem is that we have a high-major offense and a low-major defense. Unless the other team is just inept offensively, teams are going to be able to hang around with us.
I did like the 1-3-1 zone with Glover on top and Machado down low. Cluess will evolve that into a 1-3-1 trap by MAAC Tourney time. Speaking of which, I think he needs to be more inventive with this group--we don't have great defensive players, so just throw a bunch of junk defenses at people and hope they struggle while sorting it out. The offense works--the defense, well, you gotta get creative.

Are we Kentucky or something? No, we are not supposed to beat everyone by 30. We are supposed to be Kentucky compared to Marist in our house. Are we not a much more talented team than Marist and just squeaked by? With all that said, I still think we are going to the NCAA's on the backs of the big 3.

Now that explains why they only beat the latter by 6. That is a travel issue. Not New Rochelle to Baltimore and back.

Consistency is all we can ask for. We started the season as a poor defensive team and have maintained that rating throughout the season.
