It is a shame. Snoop can pass but has a tendency to throw the ball away. It is not because of his skills but because his teammates are not always ready for some of his tricks. If he had Cluess work with him to control his play this kid could have put up huge numbers like Scott and the kid can shoot the three as well. I don't know if he would have made the NBA because of his knee issues but it would have put him into a position to get a lucrative contract in Europe. At one point this kid was considered the best PG in his class in the entire U.S..... Like I said... it is a shame. He's no Grimes ;D ;D So few are... ;D ;D

With the Pope of Harlem removed from our options.... we need a top notch PG prospect.

Zagsblog reports Ice Asortse, a 6-foot-7, 238-pound forward from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, has formally committed to Iona. Looks like a vg pickup.

According to Recruit Scoop....Northwestern offered Wade Baldwin, a 2014 6-foot-2 point guard from Immaculata. As he is being recruited by a number of schools, the Wildcats are the second school to offer him along with Iona.

Wade has stated his dream schools are Virginia, Virginia Tech and Richmond. VT and Richmond are recruiting him as well as Miami, St. Mary’s, Dartmouth, Oregon State, Georgia Tech, Lafayette, Lehigh, Bucknell, Providence, and Rutgers. I have not seen him play but he is reported to be very hard working.

Thanks, 86.
Guess we never offered. Perhaps the staff doesn't think he's a good fit in their style.

Obviously we can't expect the same from Ice as we did with Glover, but would be nice if he came in and immediately gave us a spark in the frontcourt.

Can anyone comment on how Laury looks in practice? Would be great if both Laury and Asortse are legit. Also, Gomez looks to be having a nice final juco season: 11.71 pts; 3.47 rebs; 5.65 ast gomarauders.avc.edu/!Stats/basketball/!mbb%2012/1112MBBSTATS.doc.pdf

I believe the staff is probably looking for David Laury to replace Glover's game more than Ice. Ice seems like he might be stronger on the defensive end and rebounding. Maybe the two of them = one Glover
