Guy, at Sunday's GC reception, it sounded more that he'll be gone. But I wouldn't be surprised either way. I haven't seen him at a game, lately. And I mean in the stands, as it's hard to miss a 6'10 guy. Like I said, entirely possible.

Tough to say... the kid is a great shooter who can also get to the hoop. I think his impact would be greater in an A10 or the MAAC. With that said, if he has players like Jalen Lindsey, Paschal Chukwu and Kris Dunn around him, he will not have the pressure on him to carry the team and will not be the main guy defenses to key on. He will be competing with 4 star recruit Drew Edwards at the 2 spot and 3 star Ryan Fazekas at 3. Edwards is more of a combo and Providence needs guys who can shoot the three... so I assume that is what he is banking on.

Zags reporting that Eli Cain will be on campus weekend of the 13th for an official. Grasso was at St. Ben's on Tuesday. I can imagine that the visit will be that much more impressive, if we are celebrating a NCAA berth while Cain is here. Let's hope!

Does anybody know if Cain or any other recruits were at the Manhattan game? Cain visiting DePaul this Tuesday. If he doesn't commit while he is there, maybe TC and Grasso can close the deal the weekend of the 13th.

**Speaking of St. John’s, Belgian guard Thomas Akyazili, who attended last weekend’s 58-57 win over Xavier, was at Colorado as of Thursday before returning home to Europe.
As per Zagoria.
I guess No visit?

When Cain originally committed to Delaware he stated that playing close to his family was a very important part of his decision. When he recommitted he stated Monté Ross's contract being up in the air as a reason. The kid is from WIllingsboro area so: DePaul is 783.4 miles Iona is 99 Miles Delaware is 64 miles Wagner is 68 Miles

I noticed he was listed as a 3 star recruit. Do you see him being an impact freshman in the MAAC if he commits to Iona?

I would expect him to play more and become part of the regular rotation by the start of MAAC play. He could see minutes at the 2,3 and 4.

There is a Retweet by Guy that Iona has offered Iona Prep guard, Tom Capuano. I don't understand the offer, even if Tom is a pretty good PG. Is someone leaving or struggling academically? If not why another PG? Now if TC is going to spend a year in Prep School and would come in when Ibn graduates, then it makes more sense. I read something a few months back that TC was being recruited by Ivy League schools, indicating that he's a good student. Anyone know anything about this offer?
