Much has been said about the Men's BB recruiting, but I've checked both the Men's and Women's X-C rosters and don't see any newbies. Didn't coach Santos bring in ANY new runners? The Br. Doyle MOC is today, as you know.

I agree with ic59. We are into the CC season without a single new recruit for either the women or the men. Something is in disarray here.

I knew/feared that when Gavin Kennedy left to become the HC at Illinois, that recruiting would take a hit. On the BB site EPatrick reported that an Australian runner, Ethan Heywood, was headed to Iona. The question is, did he arrive? And while I worry about recruiting, I think it's possible that we have recruited new runners, but haven't updated the rosters. Hence the question to SID. A yes or no answer would be a step in the right direction.

Good news!! 1. The MAAC X-C championship will be on on ESPN3. 2. The roster has been updated, and besides the kid from Australia, there are two newbies from England and one from Scotland. Don't know how good any of them are, but it's encouraging that Coach Santos has continued the tradition of getting runners from overseas. Assuming that Rick will be at the October 10th MTC's in NYC, and can ask him about the team.
