I Have always show the most respect for women. I have two daughters and a wife that I love dearly. That being said............I am a WW2 Marine combat veteran...In regards to Women serving as combat soldiers, a sincere word of advice ''BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU ASK FOR'' It is much deeper then Politicians political correctness.

Much better then being hungary, cold and wet in the same hole you just dug, and her wishing she was back in the kitchen...I had no objection to women in the service, they performed many valuable services, but taking the place of another male Marine beside you entering a dangerous cave was not one of them. If that makes me a misogynist........so be it.........

OT, using words like misogynist, is not fair to the rest of us.

I have never been in combat outside of the house. I have never been a woman. But I have last every combat to the woman of the house.

IC....Can't 'resist' Many years ago a young District Att. kept using the word ''Misogynist'' during a trial of a mugger charged with beating a elderly woman for the hell of it after the mugging..I did not think I, the Judge or the Jury knew what the hell he was talking about..At first break I asked him about it. He politely got a dictionary from the Judges Chambers and explained it to me... I advised.. to refer to him from now on as the ''Young Punk''. He refused, but still got a conviction.
