Anybody know if Nick Malonga was on his visit this weekend? Jamill Powell is now getting interest from Oklahoma State. Could explain these new names like Malonga being recruited

Super, I don't think that numbers wise there is any comparison between generations, when considering the greatest generation. I know that there are posters here who have the answer (I don't, but expect that it isn't close) to these two questions: 1. How many served in WWII vs. serving today? 2. How many made the ultimate sacrifice in WWII vs. today? Can someone provide the answers. 16.1 million served in WW2- All branches, 1.4 million today, 2.4 million with reserviists. 417,000 US military personnel lost their lives in WW2. Approximately 12,000 US lives were lost between 2001 and 2014 in Iraq, Afghanistan and 9/11. May be the wrong questions!
Forgot--as have many--about Vietnam!
Don't want to quibble--but those who have trained and taken casualties are the greatest. (maybe not %wise). The ultimate sacrifice is made by one person.
People cannot help when they were born!
Anyway, we need a strong PF/C.

Per Jon Rothstein: The breakout star of this weekend at #PittJamFest is still New Heights PF Michael Nzei. Could go into a college game tomorrow + get 8 + 8.

Staff could be all over rebounding with this 'ship. I was looking forward to watch Sjaq play next season. I hope he lands on his feet.

umm thanks for your service but as 86 referred to private conversations about iona players staying or leaving might want to consider doing the same for war casualties in the Iona Hoops recruiting room

I was wondering about this as it was reported he was very close with Ahmed and they wanted to play together. Maybe he plans on joining Ahmed wherever he lands.
I was looking forward to seeing him play as I enjoyed watching his defensive skills on the video vs Monroe CC. Good luck to him and I hope he is fully healed.
