No worries........almost forgot I wrote that post. Little bent last night from drinking and watching my Cowboys get clobbered so I had to vent somewhere. But take off the band-aids and lick the wounds. We can all sing kumbayah. I am known to be controversial at times but never to be intentionally insulting. Thanks for all the compassion.

Be nice. Please don't tell me you like any football team in new York. That would just tickle me to death.

Guy's a Cowboy fan; and if I'm not mistaken that's his only flaw.

I compare Dallas fans to Siena fans. Neither admit that their teams are terrible, but are constantly telling us how good they were in the distant past and how good they'll be in the distant future.

ok ic 59 and albany, enough throwing salt in my wounds, back to business. The Bonnies worry me for the following reasons: They go 6'3, 6'3, 6'4, 6'8 and 7'0 in the lineup with their main guy being wright a 6'4 guard at 17.3 ppg. Bonnies Iona FG%-45 47% FT%-68 68% (DL is a big factor in this equation) 3%-26% 38% 3% defense 31% 31% ORB 2nd in A-10 Near bottom of pack in MAAC DRB Last in A-10 Near bottom of pack in MAAC Just a few highlights when I'm comparing the two teams. Knowing and wathching what I've seen so far. We are not a dominant team in the post and we all know we live and die on that arc. DL is going to have his hands full and IMO we need 3/5 players to crash the boards HARD. What is surprising is that a team can be 1st in offensive rebounds and dead last in defensive rebounds. Leads me to belive that they don't box out or their guards spend a lot of time leaking for easy transition baskets. We stink at hitting the offensive glass but I think that is by design of TC. Maybe this is our chance to get some second chance baskets on a team who is last on the defensive glass. We are really going to have to contain Wright who BTW is also a 86% free throw shooter. 26% from the 3 point line as a team is not very effective but I do give some credence to a somewhat stronger conference being the A-10. My white board would have all caps on CHECK AND REBOUND THE BASKETBALL. I would sag in paint to rattle the bigs and know that this may give up some space on open 3's but would live with that given their percentages from distance. I think bench play of Hines and Robinson will come into play also as I see DL maybe giving up some points to forsake fouls or being called for a foul trying to defend. Hopefully that junk zone we play will allow for some confusion and misdirection on their bigs resulting in some turnovers and transition baskets. Gaels on the arc are going to have to be locked and cocked and ready to knock down easy looks or ready to use the mid range shots on hard close outs. They know we can hit the 3's so I would expect the close outs to be hard and they have length on the perimeter to do so. 40 minutes of hard work, coming up with 50/50 balls, and sharing the basketball will be needed in conjuction with the aforementioned to win. BTW we lead the MAAC in assist too just to show that sharing is caring and results in wins. Any no I'm not opening up a can of worms and going on record to say we need 20 assists to win but we will need 15.

Agree...would be great if Hines and Robinson can contribute 10-15 minutes just to put a body on their bigs and give DL a breather. Any news if Hines will be healthy enough to play? On the other side I think St. Bon. will have their hands full guarding DL with his quickness, maybe he can put their bigs in foul trouble.

Is that the amount of time per game that the Gaels actually play defense?
